Pre-ordering means paying before a product exists in our warehouse. That asks for your trust, so this page states exactly what we commit to and what can still change.
We do not pre-sell renders
A design only becomes available for pre-order after a physical sample has been produced and verified. Product photography on a pre-order page is either a photograph of that verified sample or is clearly labelled as a rendering. If you cannot tell which you are looking at, treat that as our mistake and tell us.
Payment
Each pre-order states its payment terms on the product page — either payment in full at checkout, or a deposit with the balance charged before dispatch. The terms shown on the product page at the time you order are the terms that apply to your order.
Delivery window
Every pre-order shows an estimated delivery window rather than a single date, because production and international freight both carry variance. The window is our honest current estimate, not a guarantee. If it moves, we tell you — see updates below.
Cancellation and refunds
- Before production begins: cancel any time for a full refund, no reason required.
- After production begins: your units are already committed to a production run. Contact us — we will tell you what stage your order is at and what is possible.
- If we delay past the stated window: you may cancel for a full refund, even if production has begun.
- If a project does not proceed: every affected order is refunded in full, automatically. You do not need to chase us.
Updates
Pre-order projects carry a status timeline. When a stage changes — production started, quality check, freight, dispatch — the project page is updated and pre-order customers are emailed. We would rather send you an unwelcome delay notice than let a date slide quietly.
What we will not do
We do not display live order counts or countdown pressure on pre-order pages. A pre-order should be a considered decision, not a reaction to a ticking number.
Markets and taxes
Some pre-orders are limited to specific markets for logistics or compliance reasons; any such limit is stated on the product page. Taxes follow the rules of your selected market, and duties on import remain the responsibility of the recipient unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Questions before you commit
Email support@deskeyx.com. We would rather answer a question than process a refund.
